Lecturer in ICTs for information professionals and teacher educators as well as VLE instructor in information literacy in the Information Studies Program, University of Dar es Salaam. Currently involved in research on embedding information literacy instruction into VLE platforms as well as developing online teaching and learning courses using social media. Other research undertakings include using social media to teach information literacy skills to rural women on maternal health information. Major areas of interest include open access and open education.
